I'm Nathan Miller, Broker of REsale, San Diego's premiere Real Estate brokerage. I founded REsale in 2002 with the mission of providing top notch personal service with significant savings and always acting in the best interest of my clients. I take the time to explain to my clients what the sales process involves and what the contracts mean. I proactively communicate with my clients from start to finish. An accepted offer is great, but a lot can happen in escrow that could affect your sale or purchase. Unlike many agents, I don't vanish or pass clients off to "transaction coordinators" during this critical period. I am also a firm believer that a real estate transaction should not evoke memories of purchasing a used car... I listen to your needs and provide honest advice and information to help you achieve your goals--not give you high-pressure sales pitches.
My discounted commission listings can save you thousands of dollars over the average Realtor. Just because you are saving money doesn't mean the level of service or results you receive will suffer. With a strong focus on service, communication, as well as an aggressive marketing strategy and an in-depth knowledge of real estate, not only can I save you money and deliver great results, but I can also guide you through a transaction that you can feel good about.
Many Realtors are lazy. After they take your listing, they enter the bare minimum into the MLS, slap a lock box on your home, and move on to finding their next client. That's not my style. In today's real estate market, the need for a strong marketing plan is critical for the success of your sale. My marketing plan always includes a quality MLS listing (with many photographs and a description worthy of your home), color fliers, and aggressive internet advertising. I also host open houses, advertise your property via direct mail, and provide tasteful virtual tours of your home on the Internet and in the MLS. My approach has proved effective in attracting motivated buyers and high sale prices.
REsale might not have the same name recognition as a major real estate franchise, but this is actually a benefit to my clients. As a member of the Multiple Listing Service I reach the same audience of buyers and agents as the larger firms, but because I am the owner of REsale, I have the flexibility to provide better service at better rates than if I were a wheel in a big corporate franchise.
The Department of Real Estate issues two types of licenses--Broker and Salesperson. The majority of real estate agents in the field hold only the Salesperson license. A Broker license has 8 times the educational requirement, and more stringent licensing qualifications than the Salesperson license. Salespersons must be employed by a Broker, and the contracts Salespersons make are actually on behalf of their Broker employer. Because I am a Broker, my clients have direct access to my knowledge and expertise, and because there is no middleman Salesperson, significant savings can be passed on to my clients.
